Christ Place Sports is a fun, competitive, and Christ-centered environment that gives your child the opportunity to grow physically and spiritually. We currently offer a full basketball season complete with practices, games and playoffs.
The COST for this year is $135.

Tuesday, November 12th
7-9 yr olds | Ball size will be 27.5 and goals will be 9ft
Girls at 5:30-6:30p | Boys at 6:30-7:30p

Thursday, November 14th
10-12 yr olds | Ball size will be 28.5 and goals are 10ft
Girls at 5:30-6:30p | Boys at 6:30-7:30p

Must be 4 on or after May 1st, 2024 to participate
Must be 12 on or before Dec 9th, 2025 to participate

Your player will receive a team jersey as part of your registration fee. All players will need to provide their own black shorts, basketball shoes are highly recommended, and water bottles labeled with player’s name. The league will provide the appropriate sized basketball for practice and games.

All games will be played on Saturdays in the Christ Place gym.  Game times will fall between 8am - 4pm.  Schedules will be provided in  early December following evaluations when teams are formed.

Teams will be formed after evaluations and we cannot promise that siblings and friends will be on the same team. However, if a parent coaches their child’s team, then we can be more flexible with who is on your team because coaches draft their own team.

Coaches sign up by emailing sports@christplace.com. You must be a Christ Place member to be a coach. You will then be sent a background check to be completed as well as a coaches playbook. Coaches’ children will receive a 50% discount when they register. Ideally, send us an email at sports@christplace.com to let us know of your interest in coaching before you register your children and you will be sent a promo code to use during registration.

Referees will be provided at every age level for every game. For the 4-6 year olds, the referees are volunteers.  The older age groups will have at least one GHSA certified referee as the head ref for the game with volunteer referees filling out the crew. Parents who sign up to referee games will also be given a 50% discount for any children who register. You must be a Christ Place member to referee.
In general, we want to remind parents that most of our referees are volunteers. The goal of our referees is to keep the players safe first and foremost. As the players grow and develop their basketball knowledge, adherence to the rules of the game will become more strict. Referee abuse will not be tolerated.
